Here at Zee Zee Merino we love thinking of what designs we will have printed on our limited edition printed Zee Zee Merino Tees. We like to use living things that are uniquely of New Zealand and that help children to learn new things. In 2010 our focus was special creatures such as our Huhu Grub and our Archey’s Frog and our incredibly creative friend David Wheadon designed these for us. This year Ames decided to dust off her pencils and do our designs and here they are.....

The Pohutukawa tree is one of New Zealand’s most loved native trees. It is a beautiful tree that grows all over New Zealand, but especially near the beach. Most New Zealanders have memories of great beach adventures relaxing or playing around a Pohutukawa tree. Awakening the happy memories that the Pohutukawa brings with it, is what our Zee Zee Merino limited edition printed tees are all about.
